In The Dark About Smart Meters? Groundwork North Wales Can Help!

Groundwork North Wales is working alongside Smart Energy GB, the voice of the UK Smart Meter roll-out. Smart meters are the next generation of gas and electricity meters. They’re also being offered by energy suppliers to every home in England, Scotland and Wales.

We all want to make big changes to help our planet. And sometimes to make big changes, we have to start small. Smart meters can’t solve climate change on their own, but with the smarter, more efficient energy system they help to create, they are a start.

Smart meters come with an in-home display screen that shows you exactly how much energy you’re using in pounds and  pence and in near real time too. This allows you to see how much energy you’re using and make changes to use less.
