Dynamic Wrexham Hold Everton Fundraiser – last month, over 100 guests enjoyed an evening with Everton football legends, Derek Mountfield and Alan Stubbs, at Gresford Colliery Social Club, Wrexham. The evening was organised by the Everton FC Supporters Club Wrexham Branch and helped raise funds for Dynamic in Wrexham.

GMA Solicitors and Rawson Digital kindly sponsored the event, and guests enjoyed a fantastic hog roast before the legends shared their stories. Guests also enjoyed a raffle and auction of Everton memorabilia. Wrexham singer Denzil Pemberton also recently hosted a soul night, donating the evening’s profits to the fundraising total.
Club Secretary Ken Bayley said, “Over the last 4 to 5 years, we have supported several charities, such as The Renal Unit at Wrexham Maelor Hospital, Tots to Teens and others, raising approximately £10,000. We are so proud to announce that thanks to everyone who attended these events, donated or helped in any way, we have raised £3,250 for Dynamic. This charity supports local children and young people with disabilities, making it a very worthy cause. We are only too glad to have been able to help.”

The ever-increasing daily running costs that Dynamic face mean it relies even more on the generosity of the local community to deliver its full range of services. Donations like this make a huge difference and will go to good use throughout the rest of the year.
