Focus Wales Festival 2023

FOCUS Wales festival 2023 will welcome 20,000 attendees and see over 250 acts from Wales and around the world descend upon Wrexham from May 4th to 6th May. Today, FOCUS Wales are thrilled to reveal another 80 new music acts for their 2023 edition.

Among the 80 new acts announced are:

Jeffrey Lewis
  • Critics have described Jeffrey Lewis & The Voltage as the world’s favourite underground indie-rock songwriters. New York’s Jeffrey Lewis and his band will play Llwyn Isaf on 4th May.
  • Folk award winners The Trials of Cato (pictured below) will also play on Thursday, 4th May.
  • Welsh alternative band ALASKALASKA, who are in the realm of eclectic acts such as Talking Heads and tUnE-yArDs. They will play as part of BBC Radio Wales’ live broadcast show at the festival on Saturday 6th May.
  • Also announced are Jodie Marie, Baba Ali (see photos below), Cowboyy, and CHROMA. These bands join an illustrious bill of previously announced artists. The artists include The Coral, Billy Nomates, Adwaith, Squid, Dream Wife, The Joy Formidable, and Neue Grafik Ensemble.

Wales’ Biggest Music Event

With circa 500 international industry professionals due to attend the 2023 festival, FOCUS Wales has become Wales’ biggest music industry event. The event will feature three days of panels, keynote talks, and industry advice. FW 2023 have announced more industry delegates, including

Focus Wales Festival 2023

FOCUS Wales 2023 takes place on May 4th, 5th, and 6th across various venues in Wrexham. Full three-day wristbands for admission to all FOCUS Wales events are available now at focuswales.com/tickets.
