Plant Hunters’ Fair at Whittington Castle
July 3 @ 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Plant Hunters Fair Whittington Castle
Whittington Castle is a Charitable Trust and the entrance fees for the parking and sales of refreshments make this a very important fundraising event for them.
It’s just the right time to pick up some summer flowering plants to give your garden a boost. We know that the nurseries will have just the right plant to set your summer garden ablaze with colour and add sparkle to a shady spot. There is also plenty of expert knowledge to help you choose the best for your unique garden.

There is FREE ENTRY to the Plant Fair and Castle Grounds (normal car parking charges of £2 apply).

There is another Plant Hunters’ fair at Cholmondeley Castle Gardens, Malpas SY14 8AH on Wednesday 13th July from 10am to 5pm.
Cholmondeley Castle is offering a specially-reduced entry rate to the gardens and fair of only £4.50 (the normal standard entry is usually £8.50).
Entry to this event is by TICKET ONLY. You can book by clicking on this link.
Plant Hunters’ Fairs:
“Plantaholics” Janet and Martin Blow from Hankelow, Audlem, Cheshire started Plant Hunters’ Fairs in 2007. The fairs are special and different because entry costs are kept low. Many have free entry and most have lower than standard entry prices, often half price.
If we charge an entrance fee, the money goes to the garden hosting the event. These gardens are often Charitable Trusts, raising much-needed funds to help maintain these lovely gardens into the future.
Our nurseries are all small family-run businesses including an impressive number of RHS medallists.
