Rhos Orpheus Male-Voice Choir Open Rehearsal
February 12 @ 7:30 pm - 9:15 pm
Have you ever thought you’d like to sing in a male voice choir but don’t know how to start? The world-famous Rhos Orpheus Male-Voice Choir is always looking for new members and is holding an informal open rehearsal at Tŷ Pawb in Wrexham on Wednesday 12th February.
Join in with the rehearsal, have some refreshments and we’ll round off the evening with some songs from our repertoire. A significant number of choristers have joined after attending one of these events so come along and give it a go. No experience necessary, we provide advanced techniques to assist in learning music and the Welsh language.
Come along and listen, join in if you want to, talk to us and see where we go from there.
For details, call Richard on 07528 259 087.
The Rhos Orpheus Male Choir was formed in 1957 and since then has performed in Europe, China, Canada and the USA. With a wide range of music from Welsh favourites to songs from the shows, it has a deserved reputation as one of the finest male-voice choirs in Wales.
The Chairman of the Choir, Rob Ratcliffe said, “The choir enjoyed an excellent 2019 during which we were on tour in Germany and nearer home we worked with a number of charities including Birkenhead Lions, Nightingale House Hospice and Tenovus. We now need to build on that success with more concerts planned for 2019, including performing at the inaugural Pan Disability Ryder Cup Style golf tournament between Europe and the USA at Celtic Manor. If you have ever thought of joining a male voice choir then this is the year and the Rhos Orpheus is the choir!”
