River Clywedog and Plas Power Trail

Discover the heritage of woodlands, wildlife and people along the river Clywedog. Hear tales of the formation of the geology, the rewilding of the Minera Quary, the restoration of Plas Power Woods and the origins of the industrial age from Minera Mines to Erddig.
Duration: 4-6 hours for the full trail or 2-3 hours for the half trail to Bersham.
Start: 1Oam – 12pm for the self-led walk or 10.30am for the guided walk.
There is a shuttle bus from Bersham or Kings Mill back to Minera Quarry – the last bus is at 4pm.
Dogs are also welcome on a lead.
