Recurring Event Event Series: The Rhostyllen Scarecrow Trail2

The Rhostyllen Scarecrow Trail

November 6 @ 10:00 AM 5:00 PM

The Rhostyllen Scarecrow Trail – There is going to be a Scarecrow Trail in the village of Rhostyllen over half term this October. The trail is to raise donations for four children from the Rhostyllen area.

Maps of the trail are on sale at the Rhostyllen Co-op and Chemist from 24th October.

With 65 scarecrows to find, the trail is going to be fab!

The starting point and finishing point is at the Rhostyllen Coop. The first scarecrow is inside the shop by the post office.

Business across Wrexham – please contact Kara if you would like to make a small donation or donate a voucher, please.

Aria

Aria is a funny four-year-old who has diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma, a terminal brain tumour. At the moment she is fighting it and she is doing amazingly well. Thank you so much for helping Aria – it means so much to her family. ❤️

Archie Crute

Archie has been diagnosed with Menkes disease, which affects only one in three babies a year (about 1 in 300,000).

Menkes disease means that Archie’s body can’t absorb copper properly. Sadly, there is no cure, and even worse, most babies with Menkes typically have 2 to 3 years to live.

Read more about Archie’s story and donate through his gofundme page.

We are aiming to raise as much as we can to help his beautiful family make some memories with Archie. 💙

Tomas

Tomas is an 18-year-old who has been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins lymphoma stage 2 (blood cancer) in his chest cavity.

Thankfully, it is treatable and doctors have caught it early. 🙏

Tomas has recently started Chemotherapy. ❤️💙

Florence

Florence is 21 months old and has an extremely rare genetic illness called Trisomy 8 mosaicism syndrome and a brain condition called Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum, diagnosed prenatally.

These illnesses combined have resulted in the recent diagnosis of scoliosis, along with many other medical issues that she has to battle with daily.

Florence is developmentally delayed and cannot sit unaided, crawl, walk or talk.

Florence will need regular therapy to combat these effects and that is where all the money raised will go. 💖

We would greatly appreciate any help you can give, especially to the families of Aria, Archie, Florence and Tomas.
