Wrexham and Flintshire Green Health and Social Prescribing Workshop

Learn about local green health providers and social prescribing and explore new ways to strengthen and maximise green health referrals.
In partnership with Glyndwr University, Wrexham and Flintshire PSB Environment Group would like to invite you to a social prescribing and green health event at Glyndwr University.
The purpose of the event is to learn about local social prescribing and green health providers and explore new ways to strengthen and maximise green health referrals.
The event will be split into two parts
Maximising green health opportunities through social prescribing – 9am to 12.30pm
The morning session will give social prescribing and green health providers the opportunity to showcase their services through a series of presentations and information stalls. There will also be an opportunity to take part in facilitated breakout sessions to explore new ways of working to maximise green health referrals across Wrexham and Flintshire.
Nature based Social Prescribing to support Student Connectedness and Wellbeing – 1.00pm to 3.00pm
The afternoon session will provide a further opportunity for green health providers to network and showcase green activities; and additional sessions showcasing Glyndwr University’s nature based social prescribing learning, research and student engagement programme.
