Everyone Deserves A Christmas – Update! Overview
Everyone Deserves A Christmas Update! Since their appeal in November, Mecca Bingo have been busy completing their challenge of 50 food hampers for the vulnerable in Wrexham. They have teamed up with Reverend Dave Rowlands from Rock Chapel on Bernard Road. Dave will be distributing these parcels with the help of bingo customers and local businesses in Wrexham:
Mecca Bingo are happy to announce they have achieved and exceeded their target! They have been able to make up 57 hampers! Fantastic!
Hamper sponsors: Ann’s Travel, Morrisons, Gresford Spar and Primark staff.
Other donations received include from New Wave hair, Farm Foods, Tesco and the general public.
Its been a challenging year for everyone. Reaching their goal is thrilling thanks to the generosity of the Wrexham community. The hampers will help to make such a difference to families this Christmas. They couldn’t have done this without all of your support and they thank you.
Reverend Rowlands has said that the hampers will go to the families and single people who really need the help. They will be gratefully received and he cannot express how much this means. The Reverend will be very busy distributing all the packages in time for Christmas!
Merry Christmas, everyone!
