Narrowboat holiday company Anglo Welsh run a 45-minute boat trip called the ‘Little Star’, which takes up to 48 passengers over the World Heritage Site at Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and back to their base in Trevor.
They operate five trips a day, seven days a week, at 11am, 12pm, 1:30pm, 2:30pm, and 3:30pm.
Anglo Welsh have bases across England and Wales, including one in Trevor, Wrexham by the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct.
Public Prices:
- Adults: £10 (Adults with large group discount: £9)
- Children: £6 (Children with large group discount: £5.60)
- Family ticket (2x adults, 2x children): £25
They offer a 10% discount for groups of more than 10 people. Alternatively, you may be interested in a private charter. For this, They charge a minimum of £350 for up to 39 people. Each person thereafter is charged the discounted price above.
They also offer two-hour private charters. These go to Black Park and back and cost a minimum of £500 for up to 39 people.
Tickets for the two-hour charter thereafter are charged at £13.50 (discounted price).

They require a £100 deposit out of the total cost within seven days of reserving tickets. The final balance is then due four weeks prior to the trip.
Please note the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is shut for maintenance until mid-March. They won’t start operating until 29th March.
