🌿 Reconnect With Nature This Summer at Lodge Valley Park 🌿by Stori Brymbo.
We’re excited to announce the launch of Stori Brymbo’s Summer Woodland Management courses, the first in a series of outdoor activities designed to help the local community make the most of the beautiful Lodge Valley Park.

Stori Brymbo is a unique heritage and community project in Brymbo, Wrexham. It brings over 300 million years of history to life – from ancient fossil forests to industrial innovation. While our Fossil Forest and Sneaky Peek Tours offer a window into the past, Lodge Valley Park showcases the living, breathing landscape of today.
This summer, we invite you to step into the woods and reconnect with nature through our Woodland Management courses, led by expert bushcraft instructor James Kendal of Woodland Classroom. Taking place in the stunning surroundings of Lodge Valley Park – a landscape once shaped by industry and now thriving with wildlife—these courses are all about getting hands-on, learning new skills, and making a real difference for local biodiversity.

We have two One-Day Woodland Management Courses priced at £50 per person. You’ll gain practical woodland management skills, discover traditional crafts. You’ll also enjoy a delicious campfire-cooked meal – all while helping to care for this unique community green space. No prior experience is necessary – just a willingness to get stuck in!
