Wrexham 24/7 is a five-day live stream, taking place this October half-term. Running until Friday 31st October, Rob and James from 73 Degree Films will host a series of live interviews, games and more – all to support Wrexham’s bid to become 2029 City of Culture.
Different Themes
Each day will focus on a different theme:
- Monday: Hospitality & Retail.
- Tuesday: The Arts.
- Wednesday: Sport & Leisure.
- Thursday: Politics & The Future.
- Friday: Entertainment.
Viewers can tune in via twitch.tv/73degreefilms or visit Chapter Court (5 Queen Street, City Centre) to join the action in person. Local people and businesses are encouraged to get involved – anyone who pops in or contributes will receive a clip from the stream to share on social media.

Nightingale House Hospice
The event also aims to raise funds for Nightingale House Hospice, with donations collected throughout the week. And thanks to WrexhamsEats, the hosts will be well-fed during their marathon broadcast.
“We love live streams because anything can happen,” said Rob and James. “This is a fun way to involve people online and in-person to discuss the future of Wrexham at an important moment.”
The full lineup of interviews and activities will be released just before half-term.
This event is an official Wrecsam2029 Cultural Commission. It is supported by funds from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
