Laura Evison of Regent House of Flowers is offering a limited edition print of one of her paintings.

NEWSAR

Laura’s dear friend Amy is in the process of training to be part of the North East Wales Search and Rescue (NEWSAR) team. It has taken her three years on the enrolment list to reach this point. They are incredibly proud of her, and this way, Laura can also support them in funding training and equipment for the excellent job they do.

Donate to NEWSAR, and every £2 will enter you into a draw to win a framed A3 limited-edition print of Llanderfel. She painted the picture last year after a fantastic walk with Walkabout Women. For Laura, it symbolises North Wales – from the mountains in the background to the village, to the sheep looking over the dry wall.

Heroes on the Hills

Please DM on [email protected] with your phone number, and Laura can send your lucky numbers over to you. The draw will take place on 1st December.

NEWSAR volunteers provide the Police, Ambulance Service and local communities of Northeast Wales with a highly competent search and rescue capability. They can deploy swiftly, safely and effectively 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.

They are heroes on the hills/mountains keeping us safe. Please participate, even if you do not want to enter. The chance to win a donation will go a long way towards supporting them. When they aren’t attending call-outs or training, their team of volunteers is kept very busy. They have to raise £30,000 per year to fund the day-to-day running of the team and keep it operational. NEWSAR does not receive any Government funding.
