Tŷ Pawb now open! Opening hours are 10am–4pm, Monday to Saturday, with selected food court traders offering takeaway until 6pm.

Additionally, the toilets will be open with safety measures in place.

A one-way system will be in place with restrictions on the number of people allowed in the building at any one time. Entry is via Market Street. The exit is via the car park on Market Street (a ramp is available for access).

Hand-sanitising stations have been installed at the entrances and social distancing reminders are located around the building. There will also be a staff member at the entrance to give guidance and answer any queries.

Cllr Hugh Jones, Lead Member for People said, “It’s excellent news that Tŷ Pawb, the General Market and Butchers Market have reopened to the public. The teams at Tŷ Pawb and the other town centre markets have been working tirelessly to ensure the safety of both traders and visitors. The markets and Tŷ Pawb will look a little different with one way systems put into place, hand sanitizing stations and staff on hand to answer any questions. I would like to thank all traders and staff for working so hard to ensure that they can open safely to the public.”

Cllr Terry Evans Lead Member for Economic Development said, “This is excellent news for our traders who have been understandably worried about their businesses since they were shut down in March. It means they can once again open for business and we have been planning for this event over the past few weeks.”
