Save the planet and save money too! Martin Rees Jewellers has a massive selection of pre-loved and vintage gold and silver jewellery; all reconditioned in their onsite workshop.

Also, discover amazing bargains in the 11 charity shops, including the spacious Nightingales, which has its own café.

Don’t miss Wrexham Trainer Revival, who can repair and customise your much-loved classic trainers so they are as good as new.

Central Arcade

Visit this charming Victorian arcade with several fabulous shops: Abode Above (cards, mirrors, Frenchic paint), Firefly (crystals, jewellery, gifts) and the newest arrivals – an old-fashioned sweet shop and (opening shortly) the legendary Sophie Nina will be selling her amazing and colourful clothing!

Tŷ Pawb and the Visitor Information Centre

This unique fusion of arts and community space with a quirky market and food court is full of surprises! Browse two galleries with 30 independent businesses, live music and performances most Saturdays. And some great food options, too.

Tŷ Pawb’s current exhibition is “Print International,” with a stunning variety of original works. They also have not one but two artists in residence, Rona Campbell and Liam Stokes-Massey.

It’s open till 8pm Friday nights until Christmas.

The Drawing Board

The Drawing Board community gallery in Lord Street has an awesome array of work by local artists and makers, beautifully displayed.

Eagles Meadow

Your kids will love the free Santa’s Grotto being held every weekend in December before Christmas.

You can also see Willy Wonka (the juggler and illusionist) on Saturday, 9th December and The Grinch on Saturday, 16th December (full details on their EM Facebook page)

Great social enterprises on Eagles Meadow include Yellow and Blue and Lle Hapus, the home of Wrexham Clothing Exchange – Swap Not Shop!

Fun Family Activities

Explore the Nativity Trail in December with 10 different displays to find and a prize at the end. Start at the Priory Centre and then follow the trail to uncover the Christmas story. Find out more at facebook.com/WrexhamNativityTrail.

The Xplore! Science Discovery Centre is great for those wet, wintry days

Great Choice Of Food And Drink.

We have well over 30 different options, just among the independents: everything from top quality coffee to real ale, and from irresistible cakes, to Portuguese, Thai, Indian cuisine, a juicy steak or a hanging kebab.

Markets Galore!

The indoor Butchers’ and General Market stallholders have moved across to Queens Square, while the lovely old buildings are renovated. Drop in and say hi to old friends.

Shopmobility

The scooters are now available Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm, for only £5 a day and Thursday 7th December 10am to 6pm!
