The Wrexham Academy of Screen Acting has an upcoming Kids’ Summer Bootcamp, taking place in August.
Fern Evans
The academy invites aspiring actors to dive into the world of screen acting under the expert guidance of tutor Fern Evans. Children aged 7-14 have the unique opportunity to transform their passive screen time into an active, educational, and enriching experience. The boot camp introduces children to the fundamentals of screen acting, with a focus on building confidence, enhancing creativity, and fostering teamwork.
Throughout the week-long programme, participants will engage in a variety of activities. Including acting games, scene studies, and also character development workshops. The culmination of the bootcamp will be a professionally filmed showcase. Students will perform a scene they have developed over the course, to be shared with friends, family, and the public.

“Ignite A Passion”
Dean Fagan, Founder/Director of the Wrexham Academy of Screen Acting, stated, “Our mission is to ignite a passion for the arts whilst promoting a healthier, more active lifestyle. We believe that screen acting offers a unique avenue for creative expression and personal growth.”
This bootcamp is part of the Academy’s ongoing efforts to make the arts accessible and appealing to young people, providing them with tools and opportunities to thrive both on and off the screen.
Registration is now open but spots are limited. Please secure a spot as soon as possible to ensure participation in this one-of-a-kind summer adventure.
