The museum is open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Entry is free, providing the entire community with an accessible opportunity to connect with its roots. These volunteers maintain and curate the displays and bring them to life with their knowledge and personal dedication.

Barbara Lloyd, the museum’s voluntary treasurer and long-time servant, speaks passionately about the team’s efforts:

Every team member is a volunteer, dedicating their time purely out of love for our community’s history. We do this because we must preserve these stories, not just for ourselves but for future generations. It’s a labour of love, and we’re proud of what we’ve built together.”

“Our museum thrives on the incredible commitment of our volunteers. These local people give their own time, and this dedication keeps the museum alive. The partnership between the Council, the Historical Society, and the volunteers has created something extraordinary here—a museum that reflects the heart and soul of Cefn Mawr. We’re immensely proud of our achievements and excited for the future.”
