Established in 1989, Anheddau, a not-for-profit, charitable organisation that empowers adults with support needs to live fulfilled lives, have expanded into Wrexham.
For Over 30 Years
Anheddau have been at the forefront of social care in North Wales for over 30 years. They actively support people to maximise their potential within their communities and have consequently developed a wealth of experience working in this field.
Anheddau is committed to providing support of the highest standard, and to do this, they carry out many different things, as stated in their mission statement:

They empower individuals to facilitate and identify personal goals, preferences, abilities and choices. This gives all supported individuals a voice, choice and control in its implementation. Anheddau also determine how their support needs and preferences are identified, provided and achieved while maximising their independence.
Anheddau enables individuals to be active partners in the construction and implementation of their own support to ensure their potential is achieved.
The goal is maximum progression and development for the individual. Anheddau staff facilitate and support individuals to become more able and independent in all aspects of their lives.
Career Opportunities
To complement existing staff teams in the services they will be running, they are looking for enthusiastic individuals who thrive working in a supportive culture to help individuals reach their potential, achieve their outcomes and have more control over their lives. Support workers: £10.90 per hour and earning potential approximately £26,000 per annum.
The team focus is on Active Support which enables people with learning disabilities to engage more in their daily lives. You will receive training and support to work with individuals with learning disabilities. This will help them develop new skills, access a wider range of opportunities and engage in activities with others.
