Llay Miners Welfare FC and Hotel Wrexham Partner to Support Wrexham Miners Rescue – Llay Miners Welfare FC and Hotel Wrexham are proud to announce a new partnership to support the Wrexham Miners Rescue for the remainder of the football season.
A Wolverine-Themed Third Kit
To mark the launch of the alliance, Llay Miners Welfare FC have unveiled a special Wolverine-themed third kit that will be sponsored by Hotel Wrexham and worn for several matches this season.
The unique kits made their debut on January 11 for the Wrexham derby against Gresford Athletic FC. The collaboration demonstrates how the three organisations intend to honour and educate locals and visitors about Wrexham’s rich mining and football history.
The partnership will also include several initiatives throughout the season to support the vital work of the Wrexham Miners Rescue:
Charity Auction
There will be retail offerings, such as the Wolverine-themed kit, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Miners Rescue. A charity auction will take place featuring match-worn kits to raise additional funds, with the announcement of special guests at a later date)
Matchday giveaways and special events will also occur, including the possibility of winning a commemorative Llay Logan FC scarf. Keep an eye on social media for further announcements.

We can’t wait to bring everyone together for such a worthy cause.”
