Incredible Edible Wrecsam has launched a new Free Shop at the Hub in the Caia Park Partnership. The group is working with several local community organisations to promote the Sharing Economy. As a result, more residents can reuse everyday items instead of throwing them away.
A Welcoming Space
Wrexham Council and Low Carbon Communities funding supported the initiative. Therefore, the project can tackle waste, encourage recycling and keep useful items in circulation.

The Free Shop offers a welcoming and non-judgemental space. People can donate items they no longer need and take things they want. There is no cost involved, and everyone can take part. In addition, you do not need to live in Caia Park to use the shop.
Organisers hope the project will reduce landfill waste. At the same time, it supports families and individuals through simple acts of sharing and reuse.

Free Shop Group
Residents can also join the Caia Park Free Shop group. This helps them get involved in the Sharing Economy and the growing No-Spend Revolution. Consequently, the community can become stronger and more sustainable.
The Free Shop operates from Caia Park Community Centre. It welcomes anyone who would like to donate, browse or take part. Opening hours are Monday to Friday, 11am to 1pm and Saturday, 11am to 2pm (subject to volunteer availability) until the end of April and maybe beyond!
The address is Caia Park Partnership Hub/Hwb, Prince Charles Road, Wrexham, LL11 2LY, opposite St Anne’s church and school.
