During half term, Wrexham Museum will be carrying out their ‘Five Days of Play’ activity programme.
‘Five Days of Play’
While the recent lockdown announcements have thwarted their initial plans for the half-term holidays, the Museum have adapted and posted their ‘Five Days of Play’ activity schedule. There will be different themes every day and you don’t need to buy anything in – just use what you can find in your home or when you’re out and about on your daily walk!
They’re really looking forward to seeing what you get up to, so please tag us on social media! Additionally, don’t forget the Welsh Museums Festival will also be running during half term!

Wrexham Museum
Inside one of Wrexham’s landmark buildings, Wrexham County Borough Museum is the starting point for discovering the eventful history of this region on the English-Welsh border.
The museum’s displays and collections tell the stories of Wrexham County Borough and its people from prehistory up to the present day.

Museum Opening Times: Monday-Saturday, 11am-4pm
Last admission: 30 minutes before closing
Closed Sundays and bank holidays.
Archives and Local Study Opening Times
Opening Times: Monday, Wednesday-Friday, 11am-4pm
Last document requests: 3.30pm

Directions
The museum is on Regent Street in the centre of Wrexham. Wrexham General and Wrexham Central Railway Stations are less than 10 minutes’ walk away. The bus station on King Street is even closer as the Museum building faces the bus station. There is a pay and display car park at Island Green behind the Museum, five minutes’ walk away. Look out for the fingerpost signs around the town pointing you towards the museum.
