Heart Rock Live Music

Heart Rock Live Music: This little club with a big heart will bring music lovers and musicians together to boost public morale and help Frontline heroes, key workers and care home residents get over lockdown.

Opens August 20th

Situated on Eagles Meadow, the Heart Rock live music venue will open its doors for its first gig on August 20th. After which, headline acts will hit the Heart Rock Live stage every weekend.

Heart Rock will host rock music on Fridays. The UK’s most authentic tributes will appear from AC/DC to ZZ Top. Each rock night culminates with a monster jam session that sees every musician on the bill band together. Upcoming highlights include Guns N’ Roses Experience, and Classic Rock Heroes, a Legends of Rock festival supergroup.

Each Saturday, they will feature mainstream pop music with upcoming highlights including Bulsara and His Queenies, the main event act of The Official Freddie Mercury Birthday Party in Montreux, Switzerland, for four consecutive years. Also appearing are The Stars of The Commitments, featuring original cast members from the cult movie, and Revival, voted best ABBA tribute seven years in a row.

Pulsating Sound and Dazzling Lighting!

This alternative to the current night-time scene in Wrexham showcases national artists in a club setting at local ticket prices. In addition, there is beer at £2 a pint, quality food and excellent customer service. Heart Rock also features a pro-lighting and sound tech team, delivering pulsating sound and dazzling lighting displays for patrons who can enjoy the experience of standing in the crowd or sitting at a table.

Heart Rock will offer residents a unique musical activity every night of the week. There will be a school of rock for teens and a rock choir for people of all ages on Monday evenings. On Tuesdays, they will host open mic nights with the chance to earn paid gigs. They will be forming Wrexham’s biggest band for jam nights each Wednesday. Special performances by breakthrough bands will take place on Thursdays.

The public will be making a difference for the better by buying tickets and having a great night of entertainment. Funds go to Heart Rock’s charitable partner, GO LIVE, which invests these proceeds by organising fun family days for Wrexham’s NHS workers and their families. It also provides live entertainment and therapy sessions for the residents of Wrexham’s care homes.

Supporting Heart Rock

By supporting Heart Rock, the public will make over 100 free events available every year to give NHS, and key workers release from the tension of the war against Covid-19. There will also be 500 hours of live entertainment and therapies for care homes in Wrexham.

Heart Rock is also forging links with higher education institutions in Wrexham to offer work experience. It will create several long-term full-time jobs for people residing in deprived areas of Wrexham. At the same time, Heart Rock supports the regeneration of the town centre by adding a valuable visitor attraction.
