If next summer had a soundtrack, it would belong to North Wales. A wave of major artists, cult favourites and fresh touring shows are lining up to turn Wrexham and Llangollen into one long celebration of live music.

Noughties Flashback

Wrexham kicks things off with a Noughties flashback as Blue head to The Rockin’ Chair on 22 July 2026 for an intimate album-launch event. Known for chart-toppers and harmonies that defined an era, the band are scaling things down for a close-up show mixing classics, new material and stories from the road. Presenters Jacaranda Records had this to say about Wrexham: “We see Wrexham as one of the most exciting and vibrant cities to work in.” Blue’s new album Reflections lands on 9 January 2026, with ticket-and-album bundles already available.

Llangollen Pavilion

Llangollen Pavilion then takes the reins with a packed programme under the TK Maxx Presents Live banner.

First out of the gate, Rick Astley headlines on Wednesday, 24 June, joined by indie pop favourites Lottery Winners. Astley’s slew of crowd-pleasing hits means fans can expect an evening like no other.

The next day, Thursday 25 June, sees Pete Tong’s celebrated Ibiza Classics show with The Essential Orchestra. It’s dance music on a grand scale, blending iconic club tracks with full orchestral power.

David Gray

David Gray brings his Past & Present World Tour to Llangollen on Friday 26 June, joined by The Divine Comedy — a fitting finale for a region quickly becoming one of the UK’s live-music capitals.

On Saturday 27 June, Billy Ocean takes centre stage, bringing a catalogue of timeless hits, joined by Marti Pellow, whose own list of chart successes and theatre credits guarantees a standout night.

Britpop Revisited

Britpop steps back into the spotlight on Sunday 28 June when Alex James’ Britpop Classical arrives with an orchestra, live band. Special guests include Phil Daniels, Saffron and Gary Stringer. Expect favourites from Blur, Oasis, Pulp, Supergrass and more reimagined on an epic scale.

July opens with a long-awaited return as Super Furry Animals headline on Thursday, 2nd. This is their first live run in a decade. Supporting them are Panic Shack and Melin Melyn.

Two nights later, on Saturday 4 July, Scottish favourites Deacon Blue roll into town with their Great Western Road Trip Rolls On tour, with Lightning Seeds supporting. With 40 years of music behind them, the set promises new material and the classics that fans never tire of.

He has sold over 120,000 tickets in the last 12 months, including his recent sold-out Grennan ’25 arena tour.

As the Eisteddfod week moves in, Emeli Sandé leads an exclusive orchestral event on Friday 10 July. She will perform reimagined versions of her biggest songs with The Absolute Orchestra.

The following evening, Saturday 11 July, Michael Ball returns to the Pavilion for the first time since 2004. He will offer a fully seated performance celebrating his stage and recording career.
