The Snuts

Wrexham is set to welcome The Snuts as they headline a big top concert at Llwyn Isaf on Saturday, 2 May 2026. Presented by FOCUS Wales, the event will raise funds for Nightingale House Hospice to support patients and families across the region. Organisers say the show will bring together established acts and emerging talent for a full day of live music.

The band, from West Lothian, rose to prominence in 2021 when their debut album ‘W.L.’ reached number one in the UK charts. Since then, they have achieved three Top 3 albums in three years and built a growing international following. Their live performances have helped establish them as one of the UK’s most recognised guitar bands.

The line-up also includes The Family Battenberg, Sleeping Together, The Rooks, Cherryholt, The Scene and Jonny Ash. As a result, the programme will deliver a mix of new music and festival-ready performances throughout the day. The event is open to those aged 14 and over, with under-18s required to attend with an adult.

Elise Jackson, Events and Campaigns Manager at Nightingale House, said, “We’re incredibly excited to welcome The Snuts to Wrexham. They are one of the most talked-about live bands in the UK right now, and this promises to be an unforgettable night of music.

“Events like this make a real difference. Every ticket sold helps Nightingale House continue providing specialist care and support to local families when they need it most.”

Andy Jones, Head of Music at FOCUS Wales, shared, “We’re delighted to be bringing the Snuts to Wrexham, who are one of the fastest rising artists in the UK right now, and with a big supporting cast of emerging artists on the all-dayer lineup, it’s set to be a big night for the town, and all in support of Nightingale House Hospice, a cause that’s really important to all of us.”

Live at Llangollen Pavilion

Meanwhile, additional artists have been confirmed for Live at Llangollen Pavilion. Deco will open the season ahead of Rick Astley on Wednesday, 24 June, while Katie Owen will open for Billy Ocean on Saturday, 27 June. Both acts add further depth to a strong summer programme.

Deco return to the pavilion after a previous appearance in 2024, where they built a strong following. Known for their 80s-inspired sound and energetic performances, they are set to open the season. Katie Owen has also built a reputation through performances at major events and festival appearances.

The wider line-up includes artists such as Super Furry Animals, Bowling For Soup, Deacon Blue and Tom Grennan. Events will run alongside the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod, reinforcing the area’s role as a hub for live music. Organisers say the programme reflects continued demand for large-scale events across North Wales.
