Jack Savoretti, James Morrison, Alfie Boe, Ronan Keating and Bananarama are among the first names confirmed for Live at Llangollen Pavilion in summer 2027.
Live at Llangollen Pavilion has revealed its first headline shows for next summer, and the line-up already looks spectacular. These stars will bring huge nights of world-class live music to North Wales. Better still, the shows lead straight into the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod’s landmark 80th anniversary celebrations.
A Summer of Stars in North Wales
The first 2027 announcements came just weeks after the 2026 series ended in style. That summer, thousands of music fans descended on the town for eight huge headline shows at the iconic venue. Afterwards, the Eisteddfod carried the programme on with its world-class choirs and dancers.
Now, promoters Cuffe and Taylor, part of the Live Nation family, have started revealing their plans with the Eisteddfod. The festival has already confirmed Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra for 8 July. Meanwhile, Sir Bryn Terfel, Natalya Romaniw and Noah Stewart will headline the 80th Anniversary Gala Concert on 10 July.
Since 1947, the Eisteddfod has welcomed the world to Llangollen, with over 4,000 performers visiting each year. Over the decades, legends such as Luciano Pavarotti, José Carreras and Dame Shirley Bassey have graced its stage. In addition, the Eisteddfod team now runs the Pavilion all year round as a hub for music and culture.
Jack Savoretti and James Morrison: Friday 25 June
Two of the UK’s best-loved singer-songwriters open the series with a special double-headline show. Jack Savoretti and James Morrison tour England, Scotland and Wales together for seven dates next June and July. Although the pair take turns to close each show, Morrison closes the night in Llangollen.
Twenty years in, Morrison has two number one albums, five Top 10 singles, a BRIT Award and multiple Platinum releases. Last autumn, his seventh album, Fight Another Day, gave him his highest chart position in 14 years. The You Give Me Something hitmaker also continues to sell out tours.

Meanwhile, Savoretti’s ninth album, We Will Always Be The Way We Were, marks a bold return to his musical roots. The British-Italian star has sold millions of albums worldwide. In 2026, he also played a sold-out Royal Albert Hall show and surprised Isle of Wight Festival fans with KT Tunstall.

Alfie Boe and Gravity: Saturday 26 June
The following night, acclaimed tenor Alfie Boe returns to the Pavilion for a fully standing show. After training at the Royal College of Music and Royal Opera House, he sang leading roles with major opera companies. Later, he became the definitive Jean Valjean in Les Misérables, on both Broadway and the West End.

Joining him are Wicked stars Kerry Ellis, Louise Dearman and Rachel Tucker with their show, Gravity. Ellis became the first British Elphaba, while Dearman remains the only performer to play both Elphaba and Glinda. Tucker, meanwhile, has played Elphaba on Broadway and in the West End.
Gravity celebrates their collective back catalogue, including hits from Les Misérables, Miss Saigon, Evita, Chicago and Sunset Boulevard. “Alfie Boe has become a firm favourite at Llangollen,” said Dave Danford, Artistic Director of the Eisteddfod. He added that it will be “wonderful to welcome Kerry Ellis back” for her third visit.
Holly Johnson, Haircut 100 and Toyah: Sunday 27 June
The 80s party continues on Sunday 27 June, when former Frankie Goes to Hollywood frontman Holly Johnson takes to the Pavilion stage. The voice behind Relax and Two Tribes is joined by Haircut 100, of Favourite Shirts and Love Plus One fame, and by Toyah, whose hits include It’s a Mystery and I Want to Be Free.
Ronan Keating and Blue: Thursday 1 July
Pop icon Ronan Keating then brings his Just Getting Started World Tour to Llangollen, celebrating a 30-year career. Across Boyzone and his solo work, he has sold more than 45 million records. He also holds a Guinness World Record for 30 consecutive UK Top 10 singles, beating Elvis Presley.

“I genuinely feel I’m entering a new chapter,” Ronan said, adding that he feels “creatively energised” and “deeply grateful”. Double BRIT Award winners Blue join him, fresh from their fourth UK Top 5 studio album, Reflections. Australian pop trio the Germein Sisters open the night.

According to Dave Danford, this is “exactly the kind of joyful, big occasion” the series wants to be known for. Tickets for the Savoretti and Morrison, Alfie Boe and Ronan Keating shows are on sale now from llangollen.net and ticketmaster.co.uk. Best of all, Danford promises there is “plenty more still to come”.
Bananarama, Tony Hadley and Altered Images: Sunday 4 July
Just announced, Bananarama will bring their Too Hot To Handle Greatest Hits Summer Tour to the Pavilion on Sunday 4 July. The most successful British female band of the 80s, Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward have sold more than 30 million records, with hits including Venus, Cruel Summer and I Heard A Rumour. They also hold the Guinness World Record for the most chart entries by an all-female group.

Former Spandau Ballet frontman Tony Hadley joins them as special guest, while Clare Grogan’s Altered Images open the night. “We promise a night of real 80s nostalgia,” said Keren Woodward. Tickets go on sale at 10am today (Friday 9 October) from llangollen.net and ticketmaster.co.uk.
