Saith Seren Together Stronger: Saith Seren in Wrexham have a new sign outside the pub that brings back fond memories of the incredible performances of the national football team in the Euro 2016 competition.
“Together Stronger”
Chairman Chris Evans said: “Saith Seren, or Seven Stars as it was, hasn’t had a sign since the early 1990s, which is unusual for a pub so I was very keen to arrange one for us.
“When I saw the painting by Welsh artist and goalkeeper, Owain Fôn Williams, ‘Together Stronger’, I knew I had found the perfect picture for our sign. It shows Gareth Bale, Joe Ledley and the team celebrating Wales’ success and enjoying themselves and is relevant to us.
Contas
“Wrexham company Contas made and installed the sign and it has attracted a lot of attention. I am extremely grateful to Owain for allowing us to use part of his masterpiece”.
Owain Fôn Williams currently plays for Dunfurmline Athletic in Scotland, and said: “I’m delighted that Saith Seren have decided to use part of my ‘Stronger Together‘ picture, for their new sign. It looks great!”
Saith Seren will be showing all of the Euro 2021 matches over the next few weeks.
