There is a host of music, food, and fun over the Jubilee weekend as Wrexham looks to celebrate the awarding of city status.
ATIK
Atik kick things off on Wednesday evening with The Right Royal Blow Out Weekender! The venue opens at 10pm, and it is £1 entry before midnight.
Wrexfest
Wrexfest returns to Wrexham and runs from 2nd to 5th June. It shares the structure of music festivals like Focus Wales and Chester Live, but it is unique as it combines the arts, theatre, spoken word, the Welsh Language and the people of Wrexham. One of the highlights will be singer Jane Weaver, who performs on 4th June at Tŷ Pawb. Watch their Facebook page “wrexfest” for further details.
Heart Rock
If tribute bands are your thing, look no further than the Hotter Than Hell KISS tribute band. They will be performing at Heart Rock (HR), Eagles Meadow, on 3rd June at 8pm. Voted as one of the hottest Kiss Tribute Shows in Europe, they deliver the ultimate night out in tribute to the Hottest Band in the World! The Blk Sheep

We Are The Cae
The We Are The Cae Music Festival takes place on 4th June. Taking place at the Soccer Million Riverside Arena, Penycae, there will be seven hours of live performances for just £12.50 a ticket. Main acts include the Bootyard Bandits, Western Sand, Twister and Red Rum. There will be fully-licensed bars and food available and further information is available on their Facebook page, “wearethecaemusic”.
Overton Village Hall
Celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee by dancing the night away at a disco in Overton Village Hall from 7.30pm to midnight on 4th June. Tickets are only £5 per person and include a hog roast (or vegetarian alternative). (Facebook: “OvertonOnDee“) and fill in their booking form.
The Fat Boar

Henblas Street
The Stronger Together Street Party celebrates the Platinum Jubilee with multi-cultural communities coming together for the greater good. Running from 2nd to 5th June, the event on Henblas Street will feature live music, a street party, bouncy castles and more.
