If your answer is yes, why not come along and join the Erddig Nordic Walkers? There is no membership fee. We go on three walks a week plus away days and there is no obligation to attend all. And all at £1 per walk!
Why Nordic Walking?
Nordic Walking is walking with poles, which in turn harness the power of your upper body muscles to push you forward as you walk. It gives you an almost complete body workout. An added bonus is walking on the beautiful Erddig Estate.
What Are the Benefits of Nordic Walking?
There are a great many physical and mental health benefits associated with Nordic Walking. It’s a great way to improve the condition of your muscles, heart and lungs. You can also use it as a great way of becoming more active if you have balance issues, are overweight or have a long-term condition that affects your mobility.
It can also benefit stiff arthritic joints and the friendly social aspect also has a positive effect on your mental well-being.
