Thirty Free Courses
In partnership with AVOW through Groundwork North Wales Adult Community Learning offer, Groundwork Training will provide 30 free courses for third sector organisations who are members of AVOW until March 2025.
These free courses are suitable for volunteers, community organisations and staff of smaller third-sector organisations based in Wrexham.
Courses on offer are:
- Emergency first aid at work/paediatric first aid (for groups only).
- L2 mental health first aid
- L1 safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults
- L2 food safety
- L1 health and safety, plus manual handling, fire safety and risk assessment courses
Minimum Quotas
Courses can run for at least seven people from an organisation, or individuals and organisations can register interest in a course. Once minimum numbers are required to facilitate the course, the course can be scheduled.
