A Badger Comes to Wrexham charts Badge the Badger’s adventures around the sites of the city centre following an escape from the local forest. Join him as he is heading for Wrexham City Centre and meets a new friend to explore to sites of Wales’s market-town-turned city!
Aimed at three to 5-year-olds, the story adds another genre to Leighton’s portfolio. On his new story, Leighton said, “I have always been keen to write a story aimed at younger children, and setting it in my home city seemed like a great fit. My father has always compared our family’s bond to that of badgers, so I wanted to use a badger as the main character. I hope the story will offer joy and happiness to children and families.
