Every last Friday of the month, the Ebenezer in Cefn Mawr turns into a boot-scootin’ hub of music, dancing and country fun.
Country & Western Night welcomes everyone. Seasoned line dancers and first-timers alike are equally welcome. DJ Geoff Langford hosts every session, spinning country favourites and keeping the dance floor moving. Alongside him, a local country artist takes to the stage for a live set.
Learn to Line Dance From 7pm
From 7pm to 8pm, Geoff teaches line dancing for newcomers. As a result, nobody needs prior experience or fancy footwork, just a willingness to join in. Music lovers, line dancers, cowboys and cowgirls all mix together here. Consequently, the atmosphere stays warm throughout the night. Cowboy hats, boots and checked shirts are welcome, but dressing up is entirely optional.
A Night Out in the Dee Valley
The Ebenezer sits at Cefn Square, Crane Street, Cefn Mawr, within the Pontcysyllte World Heritage Site. It also houses the Ebenezer Art Gallery, so visitors can browse local artwork before the music starts. Nearby, the historic Hollybush Inn adds another reason to explore Cefn Mawr. Meanwhile, the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct sits right on the doorstep too.
