American Hi-Fi have been added to the bill, joining double headliner Bowling For Soup and Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls as very special guests on Friday July 3. The appearance marks the band’s first UK visit in more than 10 years and coincides with their 25th anniversary. The group rose to prominence in the early 2000s with the international hit “Flavor Of The Weak”. It was followed by singles, including “The Art Of Losing”, “Another Perfect Day” and “The Geeks Get The Girls”.

Frontman Stacy Jones said: “The UK holds a special place in our hearts. The fans here are world-class.” He added the band was “thrilled to be joining the Bowl My Bones Tour” alongside Bowling For Soup and Frank Turner.

The show brings together three established acts with long touring histories. Bowling For Soup broke
through in the UK with The Bitch Song before achieving wider success with Girl All The Bad Guys
Want, 1985 and High School Never Ends. Frontman Jaret Reddick said, “To finally be able to do a proper tour together is a literal dream come true, and with American Hi-Fi in the mix, it is going to be absolutely epic.”

Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls

Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls complete the bill. Turner has released 10 studio albums since going solo in 2005 and has performed more than 3,000 shows. His 2022 album FTHC reached number one in the UK, while his latest release Undefeated debuted at number three. Turner said the line-up would be “a borderline unstable mix of good times and good tunes.”

Super Furry Animals

Super Furry Animals will headline the Pavilion on 2 July with a set focused on their 2000 album Mwng, which they will perform in full for the first time. The album was the band’s fourth studio release and the first recorded entirely in Welsh to reach the UK Top 20.

Originally released on their own Placid Casual label, Mwng is regarded as one of the most significant Welsh-language albums of its era.

The Llangollen performance will begin with the opening track “Drygioni” and continue through the full record, including “Ysbeidiau Heulog” and “Gwreiddiau Dwfn/Mawrth Oer ar y Blaned Neifion”.

“Truly Special”

The show will also include a second set of material spanning the band’s career. Formed in Cardiff in 1993, Super Furry Animals have released multiple studio albums and developed an international following through a mix of experimental sound and live performances.

Artistic Director Dave Danford said: “Super Furry Animals performing ‘Mwng’ in full is something
fans have hoped to experience for years. Hearing it brought to life in North Wales will be a truly
special moment
.”

The Llangollen date is just one of a limited number of Welsh performances for the band in 2026.

The night forms part of the TK Maxx Presents Live at Llangollen Pavilion series, which features
