St David's Day Poem

Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Hapus or Happy Saint David’s Day,
Which sentence will you say?

Cennin Pedr means Daffodil,
The beautiful yellow flowers on top of the hill.

Cenhinen means Leek,
The green and white vegetables which are sleek.

Saint David restored a blind man’s sight,
And formed a hill, which was quite a fright.

Wales is the place to be,
So, come along and speak Welsh with me.
