Put a note in your diary for Friday, 6th December, to Sunday, 8th December, as not one but two Christmas fairs come to Cefn Mawr!
Christmas Craft Fair
The Cefn Mawr Christmas Craft fair is a winter-themed exhibition with craft stalls, a choir, Christmas food, baked goods, mulled wine, and so much more! It will take place over three days from Friday, 6th December to Sunday, 8th.
Friday hours are 6 to 9pm, while it will be open from 11am to 7pm on Saturday and Sunday. The Ebenezer Gallery in Cefn Mawr (LL14 3AB) will host the event, and there is free admission.
Christmas Fair at George Edwards Hall
Cefn Community Council is also preparing to host its annual Christmas Fair. This one will be at George Edwards Hall on Friday, 6th December 2024, from 5 to 7pm.
This much-loved event promises to bring the community together for an evening of festive cheer. Highlights include carol singing with heartwarming performances of Christmas classics and festive stalls where you can shop for unique gifts. There are also seasonal treats, handcrafted items and Santa’s Grotto – a magical experience for children to meet Santa Claus himself!
Clerk Trina Nicholl-Smith said, “The Christmas Fair is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and celebrate the season. It’s always fantastic to see families enjoying the festivities, and we’re excited to make this year’s fair one to remember.”
Chairman Councillor Phil Vaughan added, “George Edwards Hall will be alive with festive spirit, showcasing the very best of Cefn Mawr. Events like these remind us of the strength and warmth of our community, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone to join the celebrations.”
The Christmas Fair is also free to attend, making it the perfect way to kick off the holiday season.
