Dinky Street Pop-Up Play Town: Bringing Imaginative Play to Life for Children
Exciting News!
Exciting news for families and young children in the Wrexham area! Dinky Street Pop-Up Play Town is launching a brand-new play experience, bringing an imaginative, role-play town to life. This unique pop-up play event is designed to inspire creativity, learning, and social development through interactive role-play.
Created by Evie and Lily, Dinky Street Pop-Up offers children the chance to step into a dinky world of make-believe, where they can become shopkeepers, doctors, firefighters, chefs, and more. The carefully designed play areas feature realistic props and child-sized sets that encourage little ones to explore, experiment, and engage in meaningful play.

“Role-play is a fundamental part of childhood development, helping to build confidence, social skills, and problem-solving abilities,” says Evie. “At Dinky Street Pop-Up, we want to create a magical space where children can let their imaginations run wild while parents and caregivers enjoy watching them learn through play.”
Bringing The Concept To Life
Dinky Street Pop-Up will be hosting sessions in various locations, offering families the flexibility to experience immersive play in their own communities. Each session provides a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment.
You can visit the Dinky Street Pop-up on 28th March at St Peter’s Hall on the corner of Smithfield Road and Dale Street or join their half-term Easter Special on 22nd April at Tŷ Pawb.

“We’re thrilled to bring this concept to life and see the joy it brings to children and families,” adds Lily. “Our aim is to make learning through play accessible, fun, and memorable for all.”
