Something For Everyone at your Local Library

Wrexham libraries always have something going on for you to join in with!

New Club ‘The Stitchers’

‘The Stitchers’ is a new group at Chirk Library. If you can knit, crochet, sew or embroider, this group is for you. They meet on the fourth Thursday of every month from 2.30 to 4.30pm with the next meeting taking place on Thursday 24th November. If you need any help with your needlework, want to learn something new or to share your skills, then why not join them? Everybody is welcome and refreshments are provided. Please telephone 01691 772 344 for further details.

Time to Remember at Ruabon Library

Join the grop at Ruabon Library to share your memories, reminisce with books and music, try out new activities and also meet and chat with others. Time to Remember is held every third Wednesday at 2pm and their next meeting is on Wednesday 16th November. Refreshments are available and families and carers are also very welcome. Call 01978 822 002 for more details.

Lego Club

Lego teaches soft skills that shape the way children work and interact with others, including creative thinking, teamwork, conflict resolution and also problem-solving skills. It’s a whole heap of fun! There are Lego clubs running every week at Cefn Mawr (01978 820 938), Brynteg (01978 759 523) and Wrexham Libraries (01978 292 090). There are other libraries who wish to start up similar clubs and the library service is always grateful to receive any donations. Also, if you have any unwanted Lego you would like to donate, please drop it off at Wrexham Library.

These sessions are a fantastic outlet for creative minds and will encourage your children to learn new techniques and inspire them to think creatively.
